I like your banner!!! Very nice and eye catching yet, simple and clean.
Congratulations on winning CoTM!
Congratulations on winning CoTM. Hope you all enjoy the limelight and carry on GREAT GAMING in Westeros!
While I have no intention of playing, reading the primer, and the current state of things I believe you all have captured the essence of the World of Westros very well and GRR Martin would love the #2 Room’s take on things. Well done I’m a fan!
Ignore this. It’s the Team Locke invite, for all my copypasting needs; http://www.kongregate.com/games/DisruptorBeam/game-of-thrones-ascent?kv_origin=/play/alliance_invitation/30542
I’m determined to be available to RP as often as possible, particularly on weekends and extended beaks
Hmmm interesting, comment forum….
A little bit of Illyria in my life, A little bit of Paxter by my side, A little bit Ihniel’s all a need, A little bit of Daeron’s what I seek, A little bit of Wolfgang in the sun, A little bit of Ashe all night long, A little bit of Dhandri here I am, A little bit of /you/ makes me your man!
Something I’d like to point out on scenes, as someone who wasn’t overly involved with the whole thing other than inane commentary:
It is all well and good to plan this, that and the other, but the fault tonight wasn’t that too many people got involved. There wasn’t a big issue IMO until the leg incident. When planning a scene it should be remembered that other players might not react how you expect them to (such as more turning up than you thought would, perhaps) and as such the scene may not play out how you expected. It’s the unpredictability of other people that makes RPing fun in the first place, otherwise you’re just writing from a script, so to speak.
Sorry if this comes as ganging up on anybody, it’s not; I just thought that it ought to be pointed out.
While I’m at it, I believe there is something to be said for people not RPing as themselves. Yes, they’re your character, and you control them. However, that does not necessarily mean that you must be held morally and personally accountable for everything they say and do. It is insulting to be yelled at for something your character did; it isn’t easy to play a ruthless character when people look at the world of ASOIAF from a 21st century moral perspective. It also makes a character irreproachable if they are played by another person; I am willing to admit my character is not a “good” person; he’s a human being, with good and bad qualities. He is spiteful, self-righteous, ruthless, and has a great capacity for cruelty. This doesn’t make me a bad person; this makes me a person writing a character. I can accept people criticising him. I feel some others are personally offended if their characters are criticised. I am guilty of this too, but I do try not to get too into character. I’d like this point to be made in the rules section, if possible.
I would like to propose an addition to the rules; when a character is incapacitated, unable to move or defend themselves, it should be perfectly possible for another to harm them. Yes, this is insta hitting, and we have a policy against that, but the game of thrones is not fair; it is equally absurd for a lone sellsword to withstand an army of knights simply due to the fact that he cannot be hit.
Welcome to GoT’s Roleplay, the show where everything is made up, and the lives don’t matter.
autumn12345: w/ LordFyr Good, and you’ll get more after you kill them and their families
HOW DID I END HERE? I AM NOT GOOD WITH COMPUTER
You dirty asshoe. xD
Just wanna say that I’m having fun! This is great, and I hope I can join in more often than I feel I will end up doing, due to RL constraints. Thanks for having me, everyone!
Oh, broke it twice apparently! Kinky.
Just thought I’d break our RP’s comment virginity.
